OUTFIT: HEELS OFF

Hi everyone it's so awesome to be back and be blogging again. This semester was one of the longest semesters I've ever had mainly because it's summertime and a few changes have taken place in my life. One of the main ones as you can see, is that I wear glasses now. Haah! And has one was a long time coming. For as long as I can remember I've had to squint my eyes to see read (as if that wasn't a sign enough) but somehow I always took it for granted, never as something important enough for me to look into. I mean even when I was in high school I was a nerd enough without the addition of pair of glasses as I spent most of my days being a bookworm, to the extent of reading in the under my blankets with a torch after lights out as a border or those never ending electricity cuts that prevailed during my time. Lately, reading lecture slides in my lectures was fast becoming a nightmare. I couldn't bear the thought actually attending a full lecture and sitting through it without having a migraine or better yet seeing anything. One day, I sat right in front of my calculus class and couldn't make out anything from the screen on top and right there I decided it was time that I accepted what I really am and get it checked out. To say I haven't been enjoying being part of the four eyed gang would be an understatement and knowing me I had to pick a pair that's chic as I am. I don't look too bad right?

I've been enjoying my thrifting adventures a lot more than I would. Its so much fun finding little treasures for such a bargain (a blogger's dream) and nothing screams vintage than bold colors and bold prints. I'm not too sure if this look would fall under a vintage look but the top gives those that retro vibe to the look. I wore this particular look for a day at school and with the size of my bag, I'm sure you can tell I had a lot to carry. I use and abuse this bag on the days I need to carry a lot so yey to H & M for being the plug for a trendy student.
